Covid-19 Update : August 21st 2020

The latest guidelines issued on Tues 18th August remain in place until at least September 13th. Please continue to adhere to the latest guidelines:

We ask that before participating in a group activityall members are required to complete the following steps:

 1.      Before each cycle, complete a  Self-Assessment Personal Screening Questionnaire.

(This takes 1 minute to complete).

2.

To assist with contact tracing, Road Captains are requested to record the members in their group using the Cycling Ireland Booking System.

3.

To further enhance our contact tracing, we ask that each Road Captain take a photograph of the group and send it to our COVID-19 Liaison Officer, Gerry Mc Crory  (087 4114037).

We would ask members to observe the following until further notice:

·

Please form smaller groups than you normally would have pre-Covid19.

·

If at all possible, can you please stick to the same people in your groups for a few weeks, just in case of the need for a traceability exercise.

·

Please continue to observe the Government advice regarding hygiene and social distancing.

While group training activities and events are returning, Covid-19 remains a highly contagious and debilitating virus, and in some cases a fatal one. Participating in club activities is on an ‘opt-in’ basis only. Members should consider their own circumstances and assume personal responsibility when deciding to partake in club activities.
