Clodagh is 3rd Lady home in Da Cooley Thriller

Over on the Dark Side...
Well Done to all the Ladies who took part in the short 'Da Cooley Thriller', held in Carlingford on Saturday 15th Aug 2015. And Congratulations to our very own Clodagh Malone who was third female home on this course. Clodagh only took up mountain biking in January to accompany her young son so as he could go on the spins!! As it happens he won the Junior Section today - what a winning team.
'Short' means 21km!! We started at the Foy Centre, did a lap of the village before disappearing into the mountains. We had a lot of uphill, cross country and a lot of downhill- something there for everyone.  There was a lot of single track at the beginning and the last section.This would have been a tough course on your own but with great company you dont even notice.
It was such a fun day/ great craic (even the uphill parts). You dont know what you are missing out on!! Give it a go.
